Supporting Agriculture Students in Pearl River, Louisiana

 The PRAFFA Alumni & Supporters realized that many students in Riverside Elementary, Creekside Junior High and Pearl River High schools wanted to participate and show live stock but did not have a place to house their animals.  Our founder, Richie Schaefer worked with the Williams family who donated a portion of their family barn to the project.  Richie met with the St. Tammany Parish School Board and then began to rally members and volunteers to get the barn ready for the students and their animals.  Richie along with Kenny Martin, Roy Yates, Shawn Symons, Chris Wallace, Joe Milczarek  and many others got to work and turned the six stalls into 12 for the animals.  The barn is nearly full now and students have a place for their award winning animals.    We still have more repairs and work to do.   Please help us with your donations!
